What Gives

You look for solutions and then you don't find any.  Until you stumble across someone who's going through the exact same thing you are and you hope for the best to relate.

  2. Thank you for the follow. I suffer from a mild case of depression (diagnosed) and starting a blog is a great way to vent frustrations. I find when I write, and put it out there, it makes things better, I get the chance to focus on the absurdities of life rather than the crushing realities of my own existence. Now the funny and fun really take the place of dark thoughts, because no matter what happens, I think, "you know what, this will be a great post."
No matter what you think is super-specific to you, there's A LOT of people out there who can relate or find comfort in the views you express. Post more! I'll read.

  4. I started by blog to try to connect with others who were going through the same thing, too. It was by no means a very encouraging blog...but in the last month or so I have tried to keep it more about growth and healing than just griping and complaining. You should check out the #Trust30 writing challenge...if you enjoy writing. It has helped me a lot. You can find the link on my blog. It is also on FB if you have a FB account: Ralph Waldo Emerson. People post their responses to the writing prompts there if you are interested. Take care...glad to 'meet' you.
